The ship Chile, from London, is now due, having left Gravescnd on the 15th August. She is now 94 days at sea.
The ship Countess of Kintore, for London, left the harbour this morning at 11 o'clock With a fresh S.W. breeze, and will in all probability be clear of the land by daybreak to-morrow.
The brig Lalla Eookh arrived in harbour yestcvcLiy evening from Newcastle with 231 tons coals for Messrs J. Eoberton and Co.
The greater portion of the Waverley's cargo of wheat and flour is consigned to Mr D. H. McKcDzie.
The Ivanhoe left Lyttelton on the 6th insfc., and rounded tho East Capo on Sunday. The Forest Queen, Atlanta, and Lrotitia, "were passed off Cape Runaway. The brigs Carl and Pawn, from Russell, and the Elizabeth Carle, from Kaipara, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday. The schooner Charybdis. from Auckland, for Oama.ru ond Pieton, called at Lyttelton yesterday for water.
Per schooner Jvanhoc, from Lyttelton: S9l sacks potatoes, R, Arthur; 45 sacks of oats, .T. Highleyand Co.; 50 sacks flour, 5 cases bacon, E. Arthur; 42 sacks wheat, G. W. Owen ; 2 cases bacon, Close Bros ; 4 cases bacon, 3 cases cheese. J. Highley and Co.: 3 cases ' biscuits, Hall and Co.; 270 sacks potatoes, Townsencl Bros.-, 75 sack potatoes, order ; 30 sacks bran, D, 11. McKenzie.
The Amaranthe sailed yesterday afternoon from Onehunga for Kaipara with a large general cargo and three passengers. Tho T.S.N. Company's s.s. Go-ahead, Captain McOillivray, arrived at Onehunga from Waikato to-day mish 40 head cattle 200 sheep, 90 lambs, W. Bailey. Passengers: Messrs W. Bayley and Chilman.
