The Caledonian has resumed sinking in No. 4 winze. The reef is mullocky and small, but shows no gold. The drive is from No. 3 winze towards No. 4, and is in nine feet. There is no change in the lode, and no gold showing. Water is coming into the bottom level at about 120 gallons a minute from the roof and face of the bottom drive. The Una crushed 175 tons and obt?;.ned 750z 2dwt.
The All Nations have loloz for a fortnight with rive head of stampers at work. The Whau got 301b of good specimens last night in the main face. The City of London and Bright Smile retort this evening. Both will probably have good yields.
Golden Ckowx.—The crushing is shaping well. They obtained 47 ounces of amalgam from seven tons to-day. Gold is show i'ig u» stopes in the hanging wall leader. The Black An«el is unable to retoi v to-day. They could not get the specimens crushed. The battery was stopped for want of water.
