It is safe, having a fire test of never less than 12o° Fahrenheit. 2nd. It is finished by distillation, without treatment I with acids and alkalies as the last process. It is I ' double distilled for the purpose of removing the acids j and alkalies used in the manufacture of all Petroleum Oils, but which cannot be removed except by their process, 3rd. The Downer Oil being chemically pure, burns | with more brilliancy of flame, consuming less oil for a given amount of light.
