Reasons Why DOWNER'S KEROSENE OIL Should! bo used by Consumers in preference to niiy ..mo Petroleum Oil. Ist. It is safe, having a lire test of never less than 125° Fahrenheit. 2nd. Tt is finished by distillation, without treatment with acidd and alkalies as the last process. It is double distilled for the purpose of removing the acids and alkalies used in the manufacture of all Petroleum Oils, but which cannot be removed except by their process, 3rd. The Downer Oil being chemically pure, burns with more brilliancy of ilaine, consuming less oil fora given amount of light. It jjivos loss trouble, because the Lamps require less frequent filling, and the wick leys frequent trimming. 4th. Although the Downer Oil costs more per gallon than other oils, it is, in the end, cheaper for the consumer, because it gives a greater amount of light with consumption of oil, Your grocer may tell you he has on sale an oil in uality equal to Downer Oil.
