(Continuation —Xesterday,
Miss O'-Keeffe, re-called, in answer to His Worship, was unable to state anything respecting ihe, boots of the person who had called at the cottage. Henry Albert Vercoe, a boy often years old, being sworn deposed: On the night when the shots were fired into the house I was at {my Fncle's at the Pa. I was sleeping in the flame room with my cousin. I was awoke out of my sleep, when Henry got out of bed I remained. I heard a sound as if somebody in the next room was trampling on d lot of glass. I heard a person in the verandah say " Thomas Russell I want your blood." Heard this said about three times. I did not see any person on the verandah. Cross-examined .by Mr. MacCormick : I was awake when Henry went out of the room. It was after he went out that I heard the sounds of glass: Ido not know what awoke me. The person that said those words seemed to aay them when he was walking round breaking the glass. The Court adjourned at a quarter to 5.
