ARRIVAL OF THE CITY OF ADELAIDE.
Thes.s. City of Adelaide, Captain"}D. Walker, arrived in harbor this morning. She left Sydney on Friday, at 6.45 a.m. ; rounded the North Cape at 2.30 p m. on Tuesday, and arrived in Auckland at 8.15, making the passage in 120 hours, allowing li hours dif. ferent lon. Experienced variable east winds with occasional showers of rain to the North Cape, and thence to Auckland. Passed a full-rigged ship bound to the eastward on Monday afternoon in lat. 34.0° south, lon. 108. ° 20 mm. east; and the ship Caduceus forty miles west of the Bay of Islands. Passengers-Saloon—Mrs. Busby, Mr. and Mrs. Bucholz and Master Bucholz, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Sloman, Mr. and Mrs. Hanney, Messrs. H. C. Daugar, W. O Gilchrist, A. S. Webster, James Williamson, Butler, McMillan, T. L. White, W. Sanderson, and twenty in the steerage. We are indebted to the chief officer, Mr. R. M. Phillips, for the latest papers.
