CITY HALL.
The dissolving views of the FrancoPrussian war were exhibited on Saturday evening at the City Hall. Unfortunately for the lecturer, Mr. Lancelot Booth, the " gods" took advantage of the darkness of theroom whichisnecessary for such exhibitions, and proceeded to interrupt his lecture at every stage with cat calls, whistling, shouting, and other boisterous behaviour. The views are well executed and the entertainment is well suited for children and schools. It will be repeated this evening.
The lovers of horse-racing throughout the world —those above all who remembe what it was from 1830 to 1853 inclusive — will learn with true regret that the honest and friendly old man, John Scott, has passed away.
