Fabnall. Esq., I have the honour to announce myself as a Candidate. Should Ibe returned, I trust by my course of conduct as your representative to justify your confidence. GENTLEMEN —Having been requested by a number of settlers interested in the Waikato, to allow myself to become a Candidate for the representation of your Electoral District, I have great pleasure in placing my services at your disposal. My interests are identical with your own. My best attention will, therefore, be given to the consideration of those questions which more directly concern you. Should you honour me with your confi - dence by electing me as your representative, I will go into the Assembly free from any party bias, pledged only to use my best exertions to secure the peace and prosperity of the colony in general, and of the Waikato in particular.
