No. 1 leader at 300 feet level turning out good gold. No. 2 leader being driven in both ways. No gold is seen in it.

Caledonian have lodged 527 ounces from their crushing, making a total of 2011 ounces for the week. The Una have obtained 58 ounces, the result of three days crushing. The Flying Cloud partial crushing gives 104 ounces from 50 tons already passed through. The All Nations crushing for the month shows a return of 850 ounces from 4-00 tons stuff. The Q-olden Calf are driving on reef 312 feet level. Gold shewing freely. The Californian tribute have obtained 159 ounces, being a fortnight's crushing of about 200 tons. The Bright Smile are at work at the new reef, it is now six feet* thick.
Oeorge Phillips was sentenced this morning to two months imprisonment for stealing a hen.
