(FROM OTJB OWK COERESPONDENT.)
G-EAUAMSTOWN, 3 p.m. CALEDONIAN.
A little gold has been found in the deep level, eighteen feet from Tookeys, in the hanging wall of the reef. There has been considerable excitement. The shares rose to £30, but are now easier. The crushing of specimens ia proceeding and the general stuff is looking well. There is an improvement towards the Otago boundary whilst driving north, but gold is not visible. The reef is widening.
The Unicorn trial crushing realised 22 ozs. from 10 tons 4 cwt-
Bright Smile crushing of 100 tons resulted in a yield of 205 ozs.
