ARRIVAL OF THE KEERA.
The s.s. Keera, Captain Carey, arrived in harbour this morning. She left Wellington midnight 17th, off Castle Point midday 18th, strong N.W. gale with heavy sea washed overboard deck cargo of kerosine, burst foretopsail, broke foretopsail yard, and smashed part of starboard bulwarks. Arrived at Napier 0.45 a.m. 19th, sailed same day ; arrived at Poverty Bay 1 p.m., sailed same evening; arrived at Tauranga 22nd, sailed same day ; arrived on Kati Kati 22nd, sailed 23rd ; arriving at Auckland on the 24th. From Napier to Auckland fine weather. Passengers: Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Eociiford and child, Messrs. N. J. Isaacs, Thomeson, Thorneson, junr., Kempthorne, J. H. Harrison, Shlrard, Campbell, junr., Haigh, Morris. We are indebted to Mr. Keeble, purser, for files.
