Another Serious Accident on the Moanatairi Tramway.

The Caledonian tailings were sold by auction this morning by Mr. J. D. O'Keeffe. 475 tons were knocked down at £2 2s. Gd.; 200 tona fetched £2 55.; and 300 tons sold for £2.
An accident happened this morning on the Moauatairi tramway. A loaded
truck ran over a man named Henry Brown, and broke his right leg just above the ankle. He was taken to the Hospital. Tho leg will have to be amputated.
A trial crushing of 5 tons from the Unicorn took place this morning. The average yield is three ounces.
The Bright Smile are having a cleaning up, and are crushing specimens. They have a fine show.
