PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
Although the company who recently performed at this Theatre have nearly all deserted us for a season, we are glad to say that Mr Hoskins and. Miss Colville still remain to delight us with their performances. Last evening they appeared in " My Wife's Lover " and " JSTothing to Wear. In the former, Mr Hill was remarkably successful as the silly lover. Between these two light and well-executed comediettas, however, came the great sensation of the evening, The wonderful unipedal performer Signor Donato made his first appearance, and hopped at once into the good graces of all present. The performance was truly marvellous; and the perfect grace with which this highly talented dancer executed^ movements which would have beerfc difficult even for those possessed of the\ average number of legs, was most admir-t able. To describe the dance is simply V impossible. People who want to knowi more about it, had better therefore goy\ and see for themselves. We can promise 1 them an exquisite treat.
Peince Napoleon sued M. Guezoult, of the Opinion Nationale, for 50,000f. lent four years ago, on condition that that journal should support the Empire. M. Gueroult replies that the loan was personal, and had nothing to do with the paper, which was and is independent and Republican.
