City of Adelaide, s.s., from Sydney Napier, s.s., from Napier ..,«.. ,„ Caduceus, ship from London, sailed October 18 Magellan Cloud, schooner, from Chatham Islands Amateur, schooner, from Lyttelton St, Mary, U.S. man-of-war, from Sydney Naomi, ship, from London Alice Cameron, barque, from Sydney Grace Darling, schooner, from Melbourne Queensland, barque, from Newcastle Nebraska, p.s.. from Sydney
The Success, schooner, has arrived from Norfolk Island, with the following passengers :—Rev. N. Codrington, Messrs. J. McLiver, G. Finley, and \V. Rogers. She brings I bale wool and 1 case tobacco. The Star of the South, Captain Holmes, took her departure this afternoon for Napier, with the following passengers :—Mr. and Mrs. Briscoe, W. Marshall, Mr. Ching, and Mr. Ferguson.
