PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
" Othello" was reproduced last evening with the great combination cast. Those who came to witness Mr Tavares' lago enjoyed a treat seldom to be met with. His realization of this character is entirely successful. There is a charming finish about his acting, coupled with an easy grace and dignity from which there is an entire absence of anything that might be thought affected or " stagey." Mr Hoskins played Othello in a capital manner. Miss Colville and Miss Surtees were the Desdemona and Emilia, and both dressed and acted their roles well. The remainder of the company sustained their respective parts very creditably. This evening the splendid play of the Hunchback will be performed with the combination cast.
