WATER, OH!
To the Editor of the Evening Stab. Sic, —Can you tell me who has charge of the public well in this district, —Newmarket. The pump is out of repair, and the people are |starving for waut of water. I fancy the Highway Board are sadly neglecting their duties in allowing it to remain as it is. There is plenty of beer to be had, but the cattle don't approve of mixed liquors. I am, &c, Joe. .Newmarket.
