COROMANDEL HARP GOLD MINING COMPANY.
The quarterly meeting of the members of this company (registered) was held yesterday afternoon at the Metropolitan Hotel, Mr A D McTavish being in the chair. The meeting was but a small one, and the director'« report for the half-year was read showing a balance in hand of 161 5s Id, and calls owing 41 lid Bd. The report showed a probability of meeting with payable quartz if the proceedings were carried on as at present. It was also suggested that it might be advisable to issue new sharos." The report and balance sheet were adopted. On the motion of Mr Hime, seconded by Mr Upham, it was decided that the offer to purchase the 1000 reserved shares should not be accepted on the terms offered, thanks being given to Mr Miller for his offer. ■ As this was the annual as well as the general meeting the election of directors was then proceeded with, and Messrs1 McTavish, Cooper, Grey, Armstrong," Matthews, Litchfield, 'and Rooney were unanimously elected directors for the ensuing year. Messrs Upham and Cooper, were then nominated as auditors, and the: meeting terminated with theiisual Vote of thanks to the Chairman., •'■•■-■";! ' " -
