V\- : • .iiafc the Auckland Naval .^ers, No 1 Company, have challenged the Thames Naval Brigade to a rowing match. This has been accepted, and the match will be rowed as soon as the Thames boat is finished. The race will be rowed ia four-oared boats, aad will take place at the Thames. No. 2 Company of. the Auckland N avals have given a challenge, which has been accepted by their Thames brethren. A rifle match will shortly take place between five members of the Auckland Engineers, and five members of the Auckland Naval Volunteers, No 2 Company, for a keg of ammunition.
