TOOKEYS.
[PEOM A CORBESPONDENT.]
I visited the mine this morning in company with another gentleman of great mining experience, and found that the men had drifted up to the boundary of the Caledonian at their No. 1 drive. The reef here has taken a decided turn for Caledonian, instead of going into the company's ground. We examined the reef up to the boundary, and found it very poor and broken up. It will average about 3 feet in width. I believe no gold has been seen while driving on the course of the reef. Large quantity of antimony being taken out this morning.
