LATEST DATE FROM EUROPE, NOVEMBER 29.
The mail steamer Nevada arrived in harbour this morning at 9 30, bringing the English Mail, via Suez. The Nevada has made a capital passage of live days from Sydney, having left at 7 p.m. on December 23rd, with. 56 passengers, and 724 packages freight, and the mail.
Passengers :—Mr Cornford, Miss Jennie White, Captain and Mrs Lawrence, Mr W. Portle, Mr A. E. Lowry, and 6 in the steerage; and 46 passengers for San Francisco. Cargo: 4 boxes (20,000 sovereigns), Bank of New Zealand j 1 parcel, J. Buchanan; 8 packages type, Reed and Brett, Evening Star ; IG6 packages fruit, 1 do do, Order; 60 packages, Order.
