SUDDEN DEATH ON BOARD THE ROSE.
INQUEST
A man named Williams, a seaman on board the cutter Rose, died suddenly on Christmas night, while on her passage up from Whangaprou.- He had, after taking his turn at the wheel in the middle of the day, gone below ; shortly afterwards the Captain hearing a groan went down the hatchway and found the poor fellow dead. It ia supposed he died from heart disease. He leaves a wife and four children at the Thames* An inquest is being held at the Railway Terminus Hotel, Official Bay, as we go to press. ■
