Tiibbe was considerable activity in the sharemarket to-day. Caledonians advanced to £70, but afterwards receded and closed firm with buyers at £62 10*. My sales comprise Caledonians, £59, £60, £65, £67 10s, £70; Thames, £16; Tookey, £19; Pride of Tokatea, 4s 9d. Closing sellers: Caledonian, £65; Tbamea, £16 ; Tookey, £20.
