The import markets close very weaK, ana with the exception of the few transactions •fleeted at auction already reported, there has been nothing doing during the last two days. The arrival of the English mail, due next week, may make an alteration, though it ia not expected that any improvement will take place between this and the opening of the new year.— Kerald, December 16.
