Some queer scenes ensue y in-Wyoming, where the women vote, ~ scry.c on juries, &c, like their lord's and masters. Recently six married ladies and as many gemtlemen were empanelled upon a murder case there, and it became necessary to lock them up all night. Three of the husbands stormed and raved at the judge, and half-a-dozen children made the courthouse ring with their cries ; but the judge was inexorable, and put them under lock and key.
