The result is known of the elections for fourteen districts. The Ministry are all returned; out of twenty-nine candidates elected, fifteen are new men. Messrs Duffield, Hay, Murray, and John Lindsay, all lose their seats.
Telegraphic communication was opened with the Peake yesterday evening. Wheat very firm; no parcels obtainable j4sßd is readily offered. ;.• •. *
