An inquest is being held at the Aurora Hotel, Victoria street, before Dr Phdson. Coroner, to inquire into the cause ot the late fire, whereby Mr Hawkskood s foundry and several buildings were destroyed on the night of Monday, the 11th inst. A jury was eoipanneUed consisting of the following geatlemen :—Messrs W Loggie (foreman), W Eyre, M Sheehef, D Kelly, J Arnel.. J Playfart, J Duncan, W Furlong, W King, M. Foley, J Menzies, C Smith. _ , ]f Mr Joy watched the enquiry on be&au of the Insurance Companies ; Mr Browfield and Mr Thome appeared on bensii of Mr C Hawkswood. The jury viewed the scene ot tne w» iteration, after which the evidence was proceeded with. _
