CRICKET.

A match will be played in the Albert Barracks to-morrow (Thursday) between eleven country players and eleven of the United Cricket Club; wickets to be pitched at 10 o'clock. The following are the United team : —Messrs Eees, Bowen, Simpson, Nicholson, F. A. Whitaker, E. Whitaker, Moss. George Carter, Gleeson, Witherford, Purchase, Sharpe. It is also in contemplation to play a match on New Year's Day at Coromandel, —Coromandel v. United Cricket Club, —if the necessary arrangements can be completed.
