ALL those Members of the Battalion who are desirous of firing the Competitive Matoh, in order to furnish Company Representatives (from whom again Competitors for General Government Prize Firing will be obtained), arc requested to assemble in uniform in the Rifle Range, Mount Eden, on Tuesday morning next, the 19th instant, at 9 o'clock a.m., to fire the following Match. Ranges: 200 yards, standing; 300 yards, kneeling. Target, 6x4; centre, 4x2; bullseye, 2 x"l. 500 yards, any position. Target, 6x6* 4x4; 2x2. Five shots at each range and no trial shots. Companies to provide their own ammunition and one Officer, per Company, to attend. Members presenting themselves after the first distance has been fired over, will be precluded from competing.
