POLICE COURT.
THIS DAY,
Before Captain Thomas. DRUNKENNESS. Four drunkards were punished in the usual manner. BREACHES OF VAGRANT ACT. Patrick Lynch was sent to gaol for seven days and six months as a rogue and vagabond; and John Leonard, an old offender, was also ordered to expiate his offence at Mount Eden by breaking stones for six months. BREACH OF MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT. 11 C Taylor, for leaving his cart unattended without having a chain affixed to the wheel in such manner as to prevent its rotation, pleaded extenuating circumstances, and was allowed to depart on payment of costs. BREACH OF HARBOUR- REGULATIONS. The charge against Peter Matsen for breach of Habour Regulations at 1868, was called on at 12 o'clock, and was further adjournod by Captain Daldy (who sat on tho Bench) for 14 days, as no reply had been received from tho AttorneyGeneral.
