Reports having left Wellington 2nd instant, at 5 p.m.; arrived at Wanganui 3rd, at 9 a.m. $ left Wanganui 4th, at 2 p.m. ; urrived at Opunake sth, at 6 a.m.; left Opunakr, sth, at 8 a.m.; arrived at Taranaki ?i«.me day, at noon ; put out cargo and p.^-sengers, and arrived at Waitara at 4 p.m. same day ; left again on the 7th, at 5 p.m., * ad arrived in the .Vlanukau as above; Experienced fine weather throughout. Passengers : Messrs. Bay ley, Hales, lernandez, Veal^, Palliner, Sullivan, and Levey. We have to thank Mr. Curtis for the prompt delivery of our files.

The clipper schooner Flirt, Captain McKenzie, arrived in harbour early this morning, from Lyttelton, after a smart passage of seven days. Reports having left Lyttelton on 30th ultimo. Had S.W. winds and fine weather till sighting the East Cape; from thence westerly winds t ill arrival. We have to thank Captain MoKenzie for the delivery of our files. the s.s. St. Kilda, Captain Flowerday, took her _ep£»»*. ur e for Wanganui this afternoon. The schooner Meteor leaves for the East Coast, via Mercury Bay, this evening, with a full cargo and the following passengers : — Mrs; Knox, Messrs.
