Walton, £xl 163 Id, goods sold and delivered ; Hale v. J. Ilemon, £1 12s 6d, reduced tdr£l 7s 6d ; B. P. y. VV-;/J. Minnyera, £20, for shares,'but no.tdelivered. "V . .'* YDi.:fa^sde*o'Cat;s^s.—Skiriner v. Hennochsberg.—Claim,:£l6 12s, on accdant of a share transaction which occurred as far Sack as 1869. Mr. Hesketh appeared for the plaintiff; Mr.. MacCoriniek for the defendant.— The' shares in question were in a company long since wound-up, but known as the Golden Crown Extended. The shares belonged to the plaintiff, who left them for sale at Mr. Kewman's saleroom ; and it was alleged that the defendant bid for them because the purchaser paid for them, and always subsequently olaimed them as his. The defendant was examined by Mr. Hesketh, and denied that he bid for the shares. A friend of his named Mohler did, and defendant gave Mohler the money, or cheque, for the amount, thus carrying the transaction into his own private account. —Mr. Newmim. was examined, and said it appeared from his books that he- sold the shares to a Mr. Hennochsberg. The defendant paid the money.—Mr. i lfred Boardman was called, and deposed .thatHibp defendant admitted the sfiaref were/his.-l-Thei; case had riot 'concluded when our reporter left the Court.
