Gtrajiamstown, 3 p. m> The Nonpareil have obtained some specimens from a new vein. The new lode in the Waitemaia is turning out very rich stone. The Inverness have got some more specimens. Woods' tribute—lß tons crushed yielded 19 ounces. The natives assert right to Bright Smile ground, and that it should^be excluded from goldfields jurisdiction. Steam communication with Ohiuemuri is much wanted, and Mr. C. I 1 Mitchell, M.P.C., is to move the Pro-' vincial Council for a subsidy.
