THE COMING BOAT RACE.AMATEUR PERFORMANCE.
WJS are pleased to sco that the members of the Auckland Bowing Club are determined to do all that lies iv their power towards sondiug a boat and crew to Lytteltonj and at the same time we are sorry to see the great apathy shown by our leading citizens in not coining forward to assist the few who take such an interest in aquatic and athletic sports. The riieiiibera of the above club intend giving an amateur dramatic performance shortly ; and wo wish thorn a bumper house, as the proceeds are to go to tub "Lytteltdn Crew Fund." AVo understand the whole of the members of the club will appear iii rowing costume, in ft ploco urrnnged expressly for tLe occasion. Tim following gentlemen ama'eurs will lake par!, in the performance : —Messrs. Henderson, isaacs, Duunetbj Brnssey, T. Henderson, Nathan, and a host of others.
