Assaulting Police, &c—P. Gt. Murphy pleaded guilty to a charge^ of .assaulting; Sergeant Walker and tearing his clothes. "For the assault he was fined 20s and costs ; and for the destruction of the constable's clothes, he was fined one shilling, and ordered to pay the value of the garments destroyed.

Bhkach op Mttncipal Polios Act.— Edward West was fined twenty shillings and costs for driving on the wrong side of the road.
