HOKITIKA.
November 15.—A great public meeting was held last night respecting the Hospital scandal. Resolutions were passed unanimously condemning the committee, and demanding their resignation en masse. The meeting also passed a vote of thauks to the West Coast Times for ventilating the question. Presliaw has been arrested for alleged defalcations, and remanded. , | November 18 —A man named Charles Duck died suddenly this morning through bursting a blood vessel.
