ARRIVAL OF THE NEBRASKA.
The mail steamer Nebraska, Captain Harding, arrived in harbour this morning, after a rapid passage of 14J days. She left Honolulu at 6.45 p.m. on the 22nd October. On Tuesday, 31st, stopped for half an hour at Tutuilla, one of the Navigator Islands, and communicated with tho shore, a native boat coming alongside for that purpose. Fine weather and smooth water the entire passage. Arrived at Auckland at 8.30 a.m. November 7th, the fastest passage on record. Passengers :—For Auckland—Saloon : Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Grahame, Captain Montgomery, Mr. E. H. Maude, Mr. and Mrs. Bush, Miss Wald. Second cabin: Mr. J. Fletcher. Third cabin: Messrs. Francis, Alexander, Patterson, Leary, Thomas, Hocking, Richards, Grey. For Ljttelton—saloon : L. Coates. For Port Chalmers—A. G. Horton, K. McDonald. For Sydney—Mr. and Mrs. Gibbons, Mr. and Mrs. Krause. Second cabin: Mr. and Mrs. Portheon. For Melbourne—saloon : Mr. M.
