THE ITALIAN OPERA.

The magnificent music which that grand composer, Donizetti, applied to the dramatised version of bcott's novel, " The Bride of Lammermoor," was made the subject, last evening, of tho entertainment given at the Prince of Wales Opera House, by the talented musicians who have recently taken their si ami among us, under <he management of Signors Cagli and Ponipei. On account of the arrival of the English mail we are unable to enter into details. Suffice it to say, that a great success was achieved, and a crowded audience departed more than well pleased with what they had heard. This evening Rossini's comic opera, "The Parber of Seville," will be produced, and, we have no doubt, will also bo a grand success.
