ARRIVAL OF THE PHCEBE.
The s.s. Phoebe, H. Worsp, Esq., commander, arrived in the Manukau this morn ing. She left Otago at 5 p.m. of the 24th, and arrived at Lyltelton the next at 3 c.m. ; sailed from thence at 5.45 pin. of the 26th, reaching Wellington on the 27th at 3.30 p.m. ; encountered a succession of strong north-west winds from Otago to Wellington ; proceeded again on Saturday at 2.30 p.m., arrived at Picton same night; left again on Sunday night, and reached Nelson at 8 p.m. ; light winds and rains from Wellington ; sailed from Nelson on the 30th, and arrived off Taranaki, 31st at 10 30 p.m.; discharged and sailed at 8 p.m. We are indebted to Mr. R. B. Pringle, purser, for files and other favors. Passengers : Mrs. Rogers and 2 children, Miss Wood, Mrs. Morrow, ■» rs. Drake, Miss Marshall, Miss Humphries, Misses Sharland (3) and servant, Miss Govett, Messrs. Verga, Walker, Carrick, Carter, LuHan Ike, Townsend. Rugus, Inns, Watson, Major Paul, ( olonel Kenny, Messrs. Taylor, Featon, Reader Wood, and 6 in the steerage.
