The following is a copy of a telegram received from the manager:—■
" 9 a.m.
" The engine is keeping water down easily. Everything working well. Have taken out since yesterday morning, 400 lbs. specimens, from the specimen leader, on north-east side of No. 1 winze. G-old still showing. JS"o change elsewhere."
