Evening Star Office, Tuesday afternoon
Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son sold, at their mart to-day, a quantity of clothing, &c., tt> close consignments. There was a fair attendance. The following prices were realised : —Blue serge suits, 16s to 17s 6d each ; Kersey drawers, 35s per dozen ; railway rugs, 9s each.
