SALE OF SHARES.
Messrs. S. Cochrane aud Son held a sale of mining shares, at their mart, to-day. There was a good attendance. Kellys brought 42s 6d ; Nolan's Candlelight, 34 shares, 2s 9a, balance withdrawn for higher figure ; City of London, 7s 6d ; John o'Groats, 3s 3d; Eureka Hill, 33s ; Imperial Crown passed at 955; West Coast passed at 6s; Otago passed at 50s ; no offer for Crown Prince and Vale of Avoca.
