THE CALEDONIAN — WATER
STILL RISING.
GbAHAMSTOWN, 3 p.m. Caledonian. —The water is rising rapidly in Nos. 1 and 3 winzes.
The City of Dunedin have obtained 47 oza. of gold from a small crushing. They start with 20 heads on Thursday.
The crushing of 16 tonß for the Vale of Avoca gave 24 ozs.
Good's (Tookey's) tribute have obtained 26 ounces from 14 tons.
Wood, Tookey Tribute Company, are crushing 60 tons at the tramway battery. There is already a good show on the plates.
The Red, White and Blue crushing is looking well.
The Bright Smile is showing splendid ; yesterday's run lias given 354 ozs. hard amalgam.
The Nonpareil and Waitemata amalgamation is expected to be successful.
