ARRIVAL OF THE EUGENIE.
The schooner Eugenic, Captain-Sweet, arrived in harbor this morning from Tahiti, bringing a cargo of cotton for Messrs. Owen and Graham. She-is 28 days from Tahiti, having called at several islands. Had fine weather and favorable winds till within 100 miles of the coast eight days ago. Since then had strong Westerly gaies. - Passengers— -r. and Mrs. Boyd ; Mrs. Dean and family. The schooner Edith, Captain I rayte v had arrived from Auckland, and sailed- again' for the Marquesas. The Amde; Captain Hart, had also left for-thef'-rame islands. The- Midge, from Auckland,; had ' arrived after a; short voyage to some of the islands, arid was to return-to Auckland with cotton. '• .
