According to this morning's jfefM, there was a good attendance- at the «ireus last evening, and the performance was as successful as usual. Now, the fact is, the circus was not open at all, and there was no performance whatever. So much for " prophetic reporting." But, after all, it is not much to be wondered at that these mistakes should be committed almost daily, lor the News, I am told, which is loud in its condemnation of " free sweepings," employs nothing else itself. Its chief police and shipping reporter combines with those occupations tiat of run boy for the paper of an evening, lnis, no doubt, is a highly economical arrangement so far as the proprietor is concerned ; but it is in my opinion a disgrace to even such a -wretched sheet as that of the Morning News. However, as really very few people have the advantage (?) of reading that erudite and Cleverly written journal, they are spared the perusal of much bad English, balderdash, and Yocel-cum-Fox twaddle.—l am, &c, Anti Humbug-,
