TELEGRAMS TO SEPT. 13.
The mail steamer Nevada, Captain Blethen, arrived in harbour this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, bringing the English and American mails.
The U.S.N.Z. and A.M.SA Co.'s Nevada, Captain J. S. Blethen, left Honolulu September 26th, connecting with s.s. Moses Taylor, from Sau Francisco, September 13th, 1871. The s.B. City of Melbourne was coaling at Honolulu when we left. Arrived at Auckland October 12th, 3 p.m. Freight: 1 case wine and 4 packages' merchandise, consignees Sohn Reed, W. B. and S. H. Upton, and Henderson and Macfsrlane ; and 43 packages merchandise, Southern ports ; al^o 171 packages merchandise, Sydney and Melbourne. Passengers:—For Auckland : R. Lewellyn, Mrs. Kempson, Jas. Broyden, son, and servant, J. Murray, Greo. Smith, Col. Whitmore, Mr. Grilner, wife, and sister. For Wellington :W. H. Yavason, William Young. For Ljttelfcon : Lieut. G. E. Q-. Jackson, R.N., Miss Mary St. John, Mr. and Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Mathows. For Port Chalmers : D. McLennon ; and twenty for Sydney and Melbourne.
