Dixon's Jtfo. 1 wire tramway broke while sending stone to the battery.
Tookey's (Lowe's tribute) and Bright Smile are crushing. Kellv's will finish crushing to-night.
Timothy Donovan was charged at the Police Court this morning, with obtaining money under false pretences, by selling gold amalgam to A. Bruce. The defendant received £5 for the amalgam, which was supposed to be worth double the amount. It was found afterwards to be only worth 2d. 3 as it contained nothing but quicksilver. The case was dismissed.
