MOANATAIRI UNION GOLD MINING COMPANY.
The first annu«i meeting of the ghareholdera of the Mo»olltuiri tTnion Gfold Mining Company rras held yesterday, at the Queei|aferry irotel, Vulcan's Lane. There vas a good attendance., of aharehioldera. Mr.. D. B. Wallace, chairman"'of directors, presided. The directors' report was read, wnich showed: receipts for past year, £828 15* 4d ; expenditure, £755 7s 5d ; leaving a balance in bank of £73 7» HdV JV W. Jooker.Esq., was elected director to replace Mr. Wallace, retiring. In reply to ahareha'clers, the chairman stated that the directors would immediately invite tenders for puttirg in a tunnel 260 feet in length, to internet the Gblde'h Age reef, which has already proved dividendpaying. This work wil be pushed forward with all possible dispxtch, to test the reef already in the company's ground.—The proceedings terminated with a rote of thanks to the Chairman.
