Constable Naughton deposed to the character of the language used, and prisoner was ordered to paj a fine of 20s and eosl.-s or be imprisoned for three weeka.
LAHcr.NY A3 A Baiheß.— fhomna H. Pearson, was brought up en warrant, ciiarged by Charles Madden, with uniawfuly appropriating to Ins own Use, the sum of £17 10a of which he was a buillee. On the application of Mr. Inspector Broham, the caso was aljonrned until Monday, prisoner was allowed bail — himself in £200, and two sureties in £100 each.
F'okoixo and Uttkrxno.—G.*orge 'Bull, alias W. Williams,'charged by J. G. Mbrrin, with uttering a fprged cheque for £15 17a 7d, well knowing the same to have been forged, was also remanded till Monday.
