lo the Editor of the Evening Stab. Sib,—l observe that the teetotallers are indignant at the excellent article in your paper a short Lime since, common ting on'the impertinent letter which Mr. Osmund Lewis addressed to one of our most respected and esteemed clergymen in reference to his remarks from the pulpit upon " Water made into Wine. I considered at (lie time that you , had so ably handled the subject, that further comment was needless, although you asked " VVho is Osmund Lewis?" and I now feel called upon to ask you to search the daily papers of about July, 1860, and you will there see who Osmund Lewis Js, and the severe Handling he obtained for a spiteful letter winch lie wrote to a London paper in reference to our city. I B i lol ,i d be glad if JQU wouM publish his letter to the jbaily Telegraph of that time.—l am, &c, TffiSIPJBBANCB.
