THE CALEDONIAN.—MINE MANAGER'S REPORT.
The following is a copy of a telegram received from the manager.-— " 9.40 a.m. " The water is one foot lower than yesterday morning. We have had a good deal of trouble with our pods and double pump. It is working all right at present, and I hope do further accident will occur, but the water is very heavy. The general stuff is crushing well. Water is out of No. 1 winze. There is no change in other parts of the mine."
